WP 2 Analysis of the starting situation & monitoring

AIM is to form for the first time in EU history cross-country comparison on energy efficiency and consumer reactions to identify best and worst practices in the sector of residential care homes for elderly people. For information on energy efficiency state of the art and investment needs a limited number of preliminary energy audits will be implemented in 100 residential homes. Energy monitoring will be at the same time awareness rising tool for residential care homes staff. Behavioural analysis will give valuable information on habits of elderly residents, as well as their values influencing energy inefficient behaviour.
